We’re excited to share that Gratacon has teamed up with Mortenson to help deliver a landmark project for women’s sports right here in Denver. Mortenson has been selected as the construction manager for the Denver Summit FC stadium, and we’re proud to join them as an associate partner on this transformative build.
The purpose-built stadium will anchor the Santa Fe Yards district just south of downtown Denver. Designed to seat approximately 14,500 fans, the open-air venue will serve as the permanent home for Denver’s newest club in the National Women’s Soccer League. With strong early support and record-setting momentum around the team, this project marks a major milestone for women’s professional sports in Colorado.
A Purpose-Built Home for Women’s Soccer
This stadium isn’t just another sports venue. It’s being designed specifically for women’s professional soccer, with fan experience, atmosphere, and community connection at the forefront. The architectural vision by Populous reflects the energy of the club and the vibrancy of Denver itself.
Why This Project Means So Much to Us
At Gratacon, this opportunity carries real significance. As a Colorado-based, woman-owned contractor, partnering on a purpose-built stadium for women’s professional soccer feels aligned with who we are and what we stand for.
We’re especially grateful that our team brings meaningful sports and entertainment construction experience to the table. From complex venues to high-performance environments along the Front Range, we understand the coordination, sequencing, and technical precision these facilities demand. Our teams background in sports and entertainment construction prior to joining Gratacon positions us to contribute in a way that’s thoughtful, capable, and grounded in real-world execution.
This project isn’t just about building a stadium. It’s about helping shape a gathering place for the community, supporting the growth of women’s athletics, and delivering something Denver can be proud of for generations. We’re honored to stand alongside Mortenson and Denver Summit FC as this vision becomes reality.
